Ex-Supreme Court justice has second thoughts on Bush v. Gore
Mon Apr 29, 2013
Well, duh! If they had stayed out of it and let the Florida Supreme Court decision stand (a recount in all counties), we would not have had to suffer the fiasco of the Bush presidency and the subsequent economic meltdown, as Gore would have been the clear winner.
Boehner: Obama holding entitlement reform 'hostage' for tax hikes
Fri Apr 5, 2013
Hands off Social Security. Boehner is reprehensible. His smarmy face reminds me of Eddie Haskall. He'll say whatever he thinks his billionaire base wants to hear, and he doesn't care what happens to the rest of us.

Sun Mar 10, 2013
My problem with Moderate in Madison is not that he's a Republican, or even that he would probably vote for Jeb Bush. With Cantor opposed, House vote on fiscal cliff compromise remains in doubt
Tue Jan 1, 2013
As we say here in rural NC, Boehner and Cantor are about as useless as teats on boar hog.
Despite last-minute deal, more political drama likely on the way
Tue Jan 1, 2013
Gumps said: There should be a cap on how much entitlement $$ one can draw in their lifetime. So at some point they should just cut off the funding and kill Grandma. Is that what you're saying, Gump? Our problem is not health care for the elderly. It's the GOP policy of tax breaks for the wealthy and …

Florida governor asks Obama to block possible ports strike
Sat Dec 22, 2012
The President should offer to help only if Rick Scott steps down as Governor. Sounds like a fair deal to me.
